Hiring Compliance Tip: If a personal vehicle is essential for the job, such as a courier position without a company vehicle, it's appropriate to ask if the applicant has access to a car. However, if your primary concern is ensuring the employee arrives on time, it's better to ask whether they have reliable transportation and to emphasize the importance of punctuality.
